#4 Levelling Up: No-Code Meets AI at Product Tools
How Relume.io and Other Tools are Changing the Game for Non-Technical Creators
When I started Product Tools, the focus was purely on no-code solutions. But with the rapid rise of generative AI, I’ve realized that I’ve missed out on highlighting a crucial toolset that can help non-technical thinkers become doers even faster. So, starting from this edition, I’m fixing that oversight. From now on, I’ll be covering both no-code and AI tools to help you turn your ideas into reality.
Introducing Relume.io – Your AI-Powered Website Brainstorming Tool
The first AI tool I’m excited to introduce is Relume.io. It’s a super easy platform that allows you to visually brainstorm and refine your website idea using generative AI. Whenever I prepare quotations for my design projects, I allocate around 70% of the time to sitemap creation, wireframing, and copywriting. In my experience, the structure and copy of a website are far more critical than just how visually stunning or colorful it looks.
I always encourage my clients to iterate heavily at these early stages, as sitemaps and wireframes are easy to update and refine. Below are some example images of basic sitemaps and wireframes to illustrate the importance of this process:

The reason I push for being heavily iterative at this stage is simple—it saves a massive amount of design and development time down the road. I often have clients come to me saying, “I want to build something like Amazon or Uber.” But when I ask if they have a feature list or a requirement document, their response is often, “It’s all in my head.” That’s far from a useful product description.
A detailed, finalized sitemap and wireframe serve as a clear roadmap, reducing both the design time and costs. And now, with Relume’s AI capabilities, you can start your brainstorming process in minutes and shape your website idea within a few hours.
For a step-by-step guide on using Relume, check out this blog post, where I break down the entire process.
I encourage you to try Relume for yourself. Its simple interface and AI features allow you to quickly visualize your ideas and finalize your wireframes. Designers will love you for the Figma-ready wireframes you’ll be able to deliver!
Spotlight on Carrd: Minimal, Intuitive, and Affordable
Next, I want to introduce you to Carrd. While there are hundreds of no-code website builders out there, Carrd stands out as an incredibly minimal, intuitive, and budget-friendly option. For many projects, a single-page website is all you need.
Take DesignJoy.co, for example. It’s a one-man design agency that pulls in over a million dollars annually with a simple, single-page website. This clean approach provides enough clarity for users to understand the service and subscribe without the need to browse multiple pages.
What makes Carrd even more appealing is its affordability. Pricing starts at just $19 per year for 10 custom domain websites, making it one of the cheapest solutions out there. If you need to quickly build and test marketing websites for your next big idea, Carrd is a fantastic tool to get started with.
Other No-Code Tools I Recommend
Here are two more no-code tools I’ve recently come across that deserve a mention:
• Reweb: If you’re a designer working on a Next.js project, or a developer who needs to build a website quickly, Reweb is a powerful tool to have in your arsenal. It’s highly customizable, with features like an AI color theme generator and code importer. What sets Reweb apart is its ability to generate the entire frontend of a website, which you can then import into a Next.js project for further development. It saves a lot of time and effort. Check out this video to see the intuitive features Reweb offers.
• ClassroomIO: If you’re looking to sell courses online but are concerned about the high cost of developing an online course portal, ClassroomIO is the answer. It’s a no-code, open-source platform for building your own Learning Management System (LMS). While it’s free if you’re the sole tutor, their pro plan allows you to manage multiple tutors. The downside? You can’t connect your own domain unless you opt for their enterprise plan, which has undisclosed pricing. However, since it’s open source, you can easily host it yourself by hiring a developer on Fiverr to set it up for a one-time fee. Check out this video to see how you can setup your course in 10 minutes.
Resource of the Week
• Microsoft Designer: While most image gen ai tools are not very context aware and need high knowledge of prompt engineering, MS designer stands out with it’s extremely good understanding worldly concepts and natural language processing abilities. I believe mid-journey is better than MS Designer but it doesn’t offer a generous free tier like MS Designer does. Below is an images generated with a simple english prompt :

I hope these tools inspire you to take action and start building! No matter your skill level, these no-code and AI tools are designed to help you bring your ideas to life faster and easier than ever before.
